Make The Difference!  We always welcome new members.  Join the Conservative Party Today

Do you want to become a member of Britain's most open, democratic and largest political party? Do you think that you could make a difference to your community here in Rutland & Melton or elsewhere? Do you share our values, beliefs and principles? Free enterprise, a dynamic, low tax economy, care for the disadvantaged in society, patriotism and the rule of law? Then you're very welcome.

Please Join Today and get involved, donate, and help us to win by clicking here

The annual subscription is £25 per member (many members subscribe significantly more than this and we are most grateful for this additional support. To join the Labour party it currently costs £36 and to join the Liberal Democrats it currently costs a massive £45), while for our younger supporters under the age of 22 we have a reduced rate of £5, which also includes membership to the Conservative Future.

Eligibility

Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Applicants are not required to be registered voters or United Kingdom nationals. People living outside the United Kingdom join Conservatives Abroad. There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 are not entitled to full voting rights. Membership of the Conservative Party is not compatible with membership of, or association with, any other registered political party. The Party reserves the right to refuse membership to any individual.

Donate

The Rutland & Melton Association relies on income generated from fundraising, membership and very importantly donations from local people to help maintain its campaigning presence locally.  Only through your help and support can we elect Conservatives to local Councils to help put a stop to the wasting of your money and deliver a low Council Tax.

The myth that the Conservative Party is bank rolled by big business is just that a myth, without small but regular contributions from many people this website and much of the work that may have brought you to it would not exist!

Modern Campaigning is expensive.  Stamps, telephone calls, leaflets and maintaining this website all cost money.

Your donation can help us to keep campaigning locally.

Every £25 pays for the postage of 100 targeted letters

Every £50 pays for 1000 telephone Canvass calls

Every £150 pays for an A4 Resident Newsletter for a Ward

Every £2100 pays for a Full Colour Newspaper across the Constituency
