S.O.S Save Our Post Offices The Government is planning to close a further 2,500 Post Offices across the UK. Alan is fighting to save our Post Offices from closure, as he believes they play such an important role in community life, and their closure would particularly affect the older and more vulnerable people who depend on them.
Keep Melton Moving Melton is being suffocated by traffic. The town urgently needs a ring road. We muse keep up the pressure and try to secure the funding to get it built!
Help Us To Help You The Conservative Party relies heavily on the work of volunteers to get its mesage across and the Association in Rutland & Melton is no exception. We require help with all manner of tasks all year round not just at election time. So whilst we encourage you to vote Conservative we would also like to ask, can you give more than your vote? No matter how much time you have to give you could help in all manner of ways by:
- Reporting a local issue
- Delivering leaflets in your street
- Helping us to contact voters in your area from time to time
- Helping to stuff envelopes at home or in our office
- Taking photographs
- Helping with administrative tasks
It really can be that simple!
Of course there is no limit to how involved you could become if you wanted to. You could also help by joining or donating to us. Should you be interested in helping us then get in touch via the form on the Contact Us page. You can also ring the Office on 01664 566444 or e-mail anne@rutmel.org.uk
